Plot structure acts as the main base of the narrative, dictating the twists and turns as you go along with it. It should be firm just like how you would want everything set before starting any play; the characters should also be introduced here alongside where they belong or come into play before anything else begins such as teasing us about forthcoming struggles among other things.
Then there comes a turning point with increased tension, higher stakes and hindrances preventing our characters from realizing their aims which leads us straight into the falling action after which they reach climax when returning to certain specific places thereby starting over again. This constitutes your story’s body while each scene serves as a block building on the one before it just like bricks in a wall.
The myriad tensions mount to the point where all things meet in one climax or place called moment of truth. Having tied up all loose ends nice and neatly at last, the story’s conclusion gives viewers what they want mostᅳclosure. Just like strong building foundations do for houses tall above ground level, an unshakeable plot architecture ensures that one’s own narratives stand while touching hearts within them…
