Conflict-driven dialogue

Scriptwriting is enriched by dialogue driven by conflict; characters’ facets as well as relationships among them get unfolded creating tension, disagreement or opposition between them that makes the story to develop forward because conflict is a powerful tool used in pushing the narrative up.

Conflict can be generated when characters have conflicting goals, distinct points of view or unreconciled emotions among other sources which often result to arguments, confrontations and tantrums. The result of bigger-bang-approach interaction is interesting dynamic tensions brought out character-to-character interactivity emphasized through act and behavior aspect manifestation that bring understanding about who a given person is as well as expose the true drives and weak spots behind his/her behavior.

Using dispute situations within conversation enhances main scenes’ vividness thereby making reader experience deeper emotional response.
